Microscopes to Telescopes

September 24th, 2020

In this Townhall, our guest scientists will explore and answer all of your questions involved in microscopes and space! We will also focus on space topics such as how the moon works, the different planets in our solar system, and even black holes!

Guest Speakers

Dr. Aurélien Bègue

Neuroscientist

Works at Harvard Medical School in Boston, part of the Neurobiology Imaging Facility (NIF)

Rose Gibson

Astrophysics Doctoral Student

Doctoral student at Columbia University, works at the American Museum of Natural History. Her work focuses on building tools used to look at space.

Dr. Emily Rice

Astrophysicist

Professor at CUNY Macaulay Honors College, researcher in astrophysics at the American Museum of Natural History, co-PI of Brown Dwarfs in NYC research group, CEO of STARtorialist (an online shop that sells 'astrofashion')
