Dr. David Pride is a MD-Ph.D. doctor practicing at the University of California San Diego. He runs the hospital's clinical microbiology laboratory where he specializes in infectious diseases, as well as research the human microbiome and bacteriophage therapy.

Dr. Kate B. Bredbenner

Science Communicator

Dr. Kate B. Bredbenner is an expert in molecular biology. She breaks down complicated scientific research papers and translates them into easy and fun videos on her YouTube channel SimpleBiologist. Dr. Bredbenner has been studying COVID-19 and makes content helping others understand how the vaccines work. She is currently a user experience researcher at Wiley.
