This study investigates the relationship between imposter syndrome and the perception of isolation among college students across different schools. By surveying students from City College of New York (CCNY), Columbia University, and Juilliard College, we are collecting both imposter syndrome scores and social connectedness scores to analyze potential patterns. As first-generation students from immigrant families, we are personally connected to this topic and aim to discover if there is a pattern between self-doubt and social connectedness in different academic environments.
