Join Junior Scientists Mya, CeCe, and Lue-Ann to experiment with hydrology (the study of Earth's water) and to learn about the science of groundwater and DIY filtration systems! (Note: this homemade filter does not make water safe to drink)
Materials for water filter:
- two empty plastic bottles
- scissors
- two hair ties
- two clear cups
- two cloths
- two cotton balls
- water
- rock, sand, small pebbles wood chips, or any foreign object to filter out
- gloves
Recommended for middle and high schoolers
