Watch the video with guest scientist(s)!

So much of life relies on a process called osmosis (movement of substance like water through a boundary or membrane of things like living cells spontaneously from one side to another to balance concentrations). It's the process behind how all living cells (smallest unit of life) can shrink and swell.
Junior Scientists Angelina and Mya invite you to an experiment where you can observe that effect at home with eggs in an EGGcellent study!
Materials for egg experiment:
- two eggs
- two cups
- vinegar
- corn syrup (or pancake or maple)
- (optional) food coloring
- water
- ruler
- pen and paper to record your data
Recommended for middle and high schoolers
