Join Dr. Maria Mazin, an entomologist (a scientist who studies insects and their behavior), to learn how to make Berlese funnels and catch decomposers!
Materials for Berlese funnel:
- leaves
- scissors
- plastic bottle
- hardware mesh or loose cheesecloth
- container (i.e. the bottom of the same cut out bottle, glass container, jar)
- water and soap
- paper and pen to record your data
